We are seeking a highly skilled and precision-focused Professional TIG Welder to join our expert team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the highest standards of TIG (GTAW) welding, quality, and precision for mission-critical components and specialized solutions.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Specialized TIG Machine Setup:* Calibrate and operate specialized TIG welding stations for precise component assembly.
* *High-Purity Manual TIG Welding:* Perform meticulous manual TIG welding on complex custom jobs, repairs, and intricate assemblies.
* *Advanced Blueprint & Symbol Interpretation:* Determine precise dimensional and weld specification tolerances.
* *Visually Inspect & Verify:* Ensure flawless TIG weld quality for porosity, fusion, and penetration (identifying defects and adhering to general good practice).
* *Critical Surface Prep:* Execute perfect cleaning and preparation (grinding, chemical) for superior material bonds.
* *Routine TIG Equipment Maintenance:* Conduct regular checks on TIG power supplies, torches, and specialized tooling.
* *Strict Safety Compliance:* Adhere strictly to elite safety standards and PPE requirements for clean working components.
*Requirements:*
* *Education:* ITI Certification in Welding or a relevant technical trade.
* *Experience:* Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in high-quality specialized TIG welding.
* *Technical Expertise:*
* Deep proficiency in all phases of TIG (GTAW) welding.
* Expert understanding of TIG parameters (Voltage, Amperage, Tungsten types, Gas flow).
* Extensive knowledge of working with Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and special alloys.
* *Physical Requirements:* Physical stamina for prolonged specialized welding and handling complex assemblies.
*Preferred Skills:*
* Proven experience working with complex stainless steel bellows and high-purity piping.
* Strong ability to meet strict production schedules and precision deadlines.
* Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to "first-time-right" quality.
