Key Responsibilities:
· Operate side sealing machine as per production plan
· Set machine parameters (temperature, speed, pressure)
· Ensure pouch size, seal strength, and cutting accuracy
· Continuous monitoring of product quality during production
· Reduce rejection and process wastage
· Follow safety standards and GMP practices
· Report machine breakdowns to supervisor/maintenance
· Maintain daily production records
Side Sealing Machine Operator – Specific Tasks
Daily Machine Operation
· Receive job card / production order from supervisor before start
· Load raw material (film/roll) as per specification
· Set machine parameters: temperature, sealing pressure, speed, cutting position
· Perform trial runs and get first-piece approval from QC
Production Execution
· Operate side sealing machine continuously as per target output
· Monitor pouch length, width, seal alignment, and cutting accuracy
· Adjust settings during running condition to maintain consistency
Quality Control Tasks
· Check seal strength using peel test at defined intervals
· Inspect print/lamination alignment (if applicable)
· Segregate defective pouches immediately (rework/reject tagging)
Waste & Efficiency Control
· Minimize edge trim and start-up rejection
· Record scrap quantity and reason in log sheet
· Optimize running speed without compromising quality
Machine & Safety
· Report abnormal noise, overheating, or breakdown immediately
· Ensure guards, safety switches, and E-stop are functional
· Follow PPE usage and GMP housekeeping standards
Documentation
· Maintain hourly production report (output, rejection, downtime)
· Fill shift handover logbook
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Sealing machin operator : 2 years (Preferred)
