Critical Care Nurse
Job Location: Batra Heart & Multispeciality Hospital, Faridabad
Department: Critical Care / ICU
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in ICU/Critical Care preferred
Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing with valid Nursing Council registration
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/CCU.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, cardiac rhythm, oxygen saturation, and overall clinical condition.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and other prescribed treatments accurately and safely.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures, resuscitation, intubation, central line insertion, and other critical care interventions.
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and syringe pumps.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.
- Identify changes in patients’ condition and promptly inform the concerned doctor and senior nursing staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, biomedical waste management, and hospital policies.
- Participate in emergency and Code Blue situations as per hospital protocol.
- Provide appropriate support and communication to patients and their attendants.
- Maintain proper handover at the beginning and end of every shift.
- Comply with hospital quality standards and NABH guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Strong clinical and critical care nursing skills.
- Knowledge of ventilator management and emergency care.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Good communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional ethics.
