Job Description:
The Supervisor cum Draftsman is responsible for preparing technical drawings, supervising production, ensuring quality, and coordinating daily factory operations for wooden furniture frame manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare detailed furniture frame drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
· Read and interpret customer drawings and specifications.
· Plan production activities and allocate work to factory workers.
· Supervise cutting, machining, assembly, and finishing of wooden frames.
· Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
· Check dimensions and maintain accuracy during production.
· Coordinate with the production, purchase, and sales teams.
· Monitor material usage and reduce wastage.
· Ensure proper maintenance of tools and machinery.
· Enforce workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
· Maintain production reports and daily progress records.
· Train and guide workers on production methods and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
· Diploma or ITI in Civil, Mechanical, Wood Technology, or a related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in an Interior works or wooden furniture or woodworking factory.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software.
· Good knowledge of wood materials, joinery, and furniture manufacturing processes.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
