Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our construction project team in Chennai. The candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting activities at construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute electrical wiring, conduit laying, cable tray installation, and cable pulling works.
- Install and maintain Distribution Boards (DB), LT panels, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and power outlets.
- Perform cable termination, earthing, and testing activities.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and other site teams for smooth execution of works.
- Maintain daily work reports and material consumption records.
Requirements
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
- Knowledge of electrical installation, panel wiring, cable laying, and testing procedures.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and use testing instruments such as multimeters and meggers.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and construction site practices.
