Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll and Accounting Specialist with 2–3 years of relevant
experience. The candidate will be responsible for independently managing payroll processes and supporting core
accounting functions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Verify attendance data using Excel and biometric systems; resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Prepare salary structures (CTC), process salary revisions, and calculate arrears.
- Ensure accurate payroll data validation before processing.
- Handle statutory compliances including PF, PT, ESIC, MLWF (registrations, filings, and reconciliations).
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with documentation and retention policies.
- Address employee queries related to payroll, tax deductions, and compensation.
- Support audits by preparing payroll reports and documentation.
- Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate with HR and external consultants for payroll-related activities.
Accounting & Compliance
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations regularly.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accounting systems (e.g., Tally).
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile GSTR-2A with books.
- Handle TDS compliance including quarterly returns (24Q, 26Q).
- Work closely with Chartered Accountants and auditors for compliance and reporting.
- Support budgeting and expense tracking activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in payroll and accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll compliances (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, GST).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions preferred) and accounting software like Tally
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
