Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and analytical Category Manager to drive category growth, profitability, pricing, vendor management, and market performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop category growth and pricing strategies
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Manage product assortment and promotional activities
- Handle vendor/supplier negotiations and partnerships
- Monitor KPIs such as sales, margins, and inventory turnover
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or related field
- 3+ years of Category Management experience in Retail/FMCG
- Strong knowledge of Indian retail market and consumer behavior
- Good skills in Excel, reporting, communication, and data analysis
