- Quantity Takeoffs: Accurately measuring dimensions and material quantities from structural or technical drawings.
- Cost Analysis: Calculating costs for direct (materials, equipment, labor) and indirect (overhead) expenses.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Soliciting, comparing, and negotiating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Tender & Bid Preparation: Assembling detailed technical and commercial proposals for prospective clients.
- Risk & Value Engineering: Identifying potential project risks and proposing alternative methods to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
- Primary Degrees: Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Alternative Degrees: Degrees in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
