Gems n Jewels is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Operations Associate to manage day-to-day retail operations, field errands, and administrative tasks. This role involves the daily handling of valuable gemstones and fine jewelry, as well as providing support to staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Field & Errand Work: Execute daily local errands (visiting karigars/artisans, clients, banks, etc.) using public transport, Metro, or two-wheeler ride services as required.
Driving Duties: Handle basic personal or company car driving tasks as needed.
Showroom Maintenance: Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and assist with getting refreshments for staff and clients.
Retail Operations & Client Support: Learn the jewelry business operations, assist with managing inventory, and interact professionally with retail clients.
Security & Care: Responsibly handle high-value materials, gemstones, and fine jewelry during daily duties.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with basic four-wheeler driving experience.
Strong reliability, trustworthiness, and attention to detail required when handling high-value inventory.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn retail jewelry operations.
Salary & Compensation:
Base Salary: ₹15,000 per month
Probationary Period: First 2 months paid at 80% of standard salary (₹12,000/month during probation).
Schedule & Hours:
Shift: 11:40 AM – 8:40 PM
Workdays: Tuesday to Sunday (Mondays OFF)
