We are looking for a skilled PHP/WordPress Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP and WordPress development, with experience in creating and managing websites and applications. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and applications.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website and application issues.
- Ensure high performance, availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure project success.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Optimize websites for performance and scalability.
- Perform website updates and maintenance tasks regularly.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PHP/WordPress Developer.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
- Knowledge of MySQL databases and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
