Job Description
As a Amada TPP Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining turret punch press machines to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams, supporting machine operations, quality inspections, and continuous improvement plans in a shopfloor environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Amada TPP (Turret Punch Press) machines to ensure smooth production and minimal downtime
- Perform machine maintenance activities including lubrication, daily checklists, and tool/die management
- Read technical drawings, CAD files, and production work orders
- Conduct First Piece, in-process, and Last Piece inspections to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications
- Implement machine programmes using G-codes and M-codes and coordinate with programmers for tool setup and process requirements
- Maintain 5S standards, workplace organisation, and ensure safety compliance using PPE and standard guidelines
- Manage tools, materials, and documentation including production logs, rejection data, and maintenance records
- Support continuous improvement (Kaizen), teamwork, and training of co-associates
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- 2–10 years’ experience operating and programming AMADA turret punch machines
- Knowledge of machine operation, tooling, and basic maintenance practices
- Understanding of shop floor safety standards and Standard operating procedure (SOP) adherence
- Willingness to work in shifts and across production areas
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Should have knowledge in Amada punching systems or similar equipment
- Exposure to G-code and M-code programming in manufacturing
- Hands-on experience in quality inspection (FPI, in-process, LPI)
- Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices
- Exposure in tool management and production documentation

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
