Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Product Inspection:
- Perform thorough evaluations of finished goods to verify compliance with technical blueprints and GD&T specifications.
- Assess parts based on defined tolerances, critical-to-quality (CTQ) dimensions, material specifications, surface finishes, and overall fit/function requirements.
- Measurement & Instrumentation:
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing precision inspection tools, including Vernier calipers, Micrometers, and Video Measuring Machines (VMM).
- Apply sound judgment to select the appropriate inspection instrument for specific measurement tasks.
- Data Integrity & Documentation:
- Compile and maintain comprehensive quality records, such as final inspection reports, Material Test Certificates (MTC/TC), plating specifications, and torque test results.
- Log all inspection findings, including precise measurements and test results, ensuring all pass/fail decisions are tracked against specific batch or serial numbers.
- Defect Identification & Reporting:
- Expertly detect visual, documented, and dimensional defects.
- Formally document and report quality discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
- Administrative & Technical Proficiency:
- Utilize MS Office suite effectively, with advanced expertise in Excel (including formulas, functions, conditional formatting, and rules) as well as Word and PowerPoint.
- Maintain familiarity with specialized inspection software or inventory management systems.
- Interdepartmental Coordination:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the warehouse, procurement, and production teams.
- Collaborate with vendors to address and resolve issues regarding non-conforming materials.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
