Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier to join a retail store in Vesu, Surat. The ideal candidate should be responsible for handling billing operations, cash transactions, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring accurate and efficient payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer billing accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Handle cash, UPI, debit cards, credit cards, gift vouchers, and other approved payment methods.
- Ensure correct pricing, discounts, promotional offers, loyalty benefits, and coupons are applied during billing.
- Generate invoices and provide customers with accurate bills and receipts.
- Process product returns, exchanges, and refunds as per company policies.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and perform cash reconciliation at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain daily records of sales transactions, cash collections, and payment settlements.
- Resolve customer queries related to billing, pricing, offers, and payment methods professionally.
- Inform customers about ongoing offers, loyalty programs, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager and sales team to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Follow company policies, billing procedures, and retail operational standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the billing counter.
