Key Responsibilities
- Material Transport: Drive sit-down, stand-up, high-reach, or pallet-jack forklifts to safely relocate inventory.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload merchandise from incoming and outgoing trucks, rail cars, and shipping containers.
- Order Preparation: Pick, pack, and shrink-wrap orders; stage pallets for outgoing shipments according to daily schedules.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift inspections, report mechanical issues, and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Inventory Tracking: Use RF scanning equipment or warehouse management software to track stock movements, log inventory, and verify counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA (or local safety) guidelines, secure loads properly, and report any workplace hazards or product damages.
Essential Requirements
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license/certificate and a clean driving record.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy objects (often 20-50+ kg) and handle constant bending, twisting, and physical exertion.
- Spatial Awareness: Excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness to navigate tight aisles and stack heavy crates safely.
- Basic Admin: Basic math, reading, and literacy skills to read manifests, work orders, and shipping labels.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
