- Develop and implement project procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
- Manage procurement of civil, mechanical, electrical, and hydro-mechanical equipment and materials.
- Ensure timely sourcing, evaluation, and selection of qualified suppliers and contractors.
- Lead RFQ, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, and award processes.
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database.
- Conduct vendor assessments, qualification, and performance evaluations.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.
- Work closely with engineering, planning, construction, and store teams to identify procurement requirements.
- Track critical procurement milestones and ensure alignment with project schedules.
- Monitor supplier manufacturing, inspections, dispatches, and deliveries.
- Oversee transportation, customs clearance (if applicable), and site delivery of equipment and materials.
- Ensure uninterrupted material flow to project sites.
- Optimize inventory levels and minimize material shortages.
- Prepare procurement budgets and forecasts.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor procurement expenditures against approved budgets.
- Prepare procurement reports and management dashboards.
- Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage supplier performance risks, delivery delays, and market fluctuations.
- Ensure business continuity through alternate sourcing strategies.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with project, statutory, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
