Job Title:
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Physics (CBSE)
Job Summary:
The PGT Physics teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to Classes XI & XII in alignment with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum. The role focuses on building strong conceptual foundations, problem-solving skills, and preparing students for board and competitive examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Physics lessons as per CBSE syllabus for Grades 11 & 12.
- Teach core topics such as Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Optics, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations using structured revision and practice strategies.
- Design and evaluate question papers, assignments, and internal assessments aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Help students develop analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
- Provide remedial coaching and academic support to students as required.
- Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and internal assessments.
- Integrate digital tools and simulations to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Support students preparing for competitive exams like JEE and NEET (foundation level).
- Participate in staff meetings, academic planning, and parent-teacher interactions.
Required Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Physics (mandatory)
- B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms)
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school
- Experience teaching Classes XI & XII is essential
Skills Required:
- Strong command of Physics concepts and CBSE curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to simplify complex numerical and theoretical concepts
- Experience in board exam preparation and result-oriented teaching
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in coaching for JEE/NEET
- Ability to use simulations and practical demonstrations effectively
- Strong mentoring and student engagement abilities
Salary:
As per CBSE school standards / commensurate with experience
