Position: QA/QC Engineer – Waterproofing & Construction

Role Overview
We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to ensure high-quality execution across project sites while strengthening internal quality systems and capabilities. This is a site-intensive role with a strong focus on inspections, training, and process standardization.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Quality Control (Primary Focus)
- Conduct regular site inspections covering surface preparation, primer application, membrane installation, and curing stages
- Identify deviations and raise NCRs with proper documentation and closure tracking
- Verify incoming materials (batch, shelf life, storage) as per specifications
- Maintain quality records: inspection logs, test certificates, stage-wise approvals
- Monitor material consumption and adherence to quality plans
- Ensure execution meets defined quality standards
2. Training & Capability Building
- Train site teams on inspection checkpoints and acceptance criteria
- Develop visual training materials (good vs poor workmanship)
- Conduct regular workshops on defects, rework prevention, and safe chemical handling
- Create SOPs for key activities (surface prep, mixing, application, quality checks)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects
3. Quality Systems & Documentation
- Develop Quality Control Plans (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
- Prepare method statements aligned with manufacturer guidelines and standards
- Coordinate with third-party labs for testing (adhesion, tensile strength, elongation, etc.)
- Prepare weekly quality reports (site status, NCR tracking, corrective actions)
- Interface with clients, PMCs, and consultants for audits and submissions
Professional Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 4–6 years of QA/QC experience in construction/infrastructure
Strong Expertise In:
- Site inspections & audits
- Material testing
- NCR management
Working Knowledge Of:
- IS Codes
- International Standards (ASTM, EN, BS, DIN)
Additional Requirements
- Ability to train and mentor site teams
- Willingness to travel across project sites
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
Preferred
- Experience in waterproofing / construction chemicals
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Exposure to PMCs, architects, and institutional clients
Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹780,000.00 per year
