Prayas JAC Society invites applications from passionate, dynamic, and committed professionals for the position of Life Skill Trainer for skill education programs in Delhi.
Position - Life Skill Trainer
Location - Delhi
Number of Vacancies - Multiple
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging Life Skills sessions for students in schools.
- Deliver training on communication skills, personality development, emotional intelligence, teamwork, leadership, goal setting, time management, digital citizenship, career awareness and workplace readiness.
- Use interactive methodologies such as activities, role plays, group discussions, games, storytelling and project-based learning.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records and training documentation.
- Support students in developing confidence, self-awareness and employability skills.
- Coordinate with school authorities and project teams for smooth implementation.
- Participate in training programs, review meetings and capacity-building workshops.
- Ensure timely reporting and compliance with project requirements.
Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
Preferred:
- Post Graduate in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Human Resource Management, Counselling, Sociology, or related fields.
- Certification in Life Skills, Soft Skills, Counselling, Youth Development, Employability Skills, or Training & Facilitation will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in training, teaching, counselling, youth development, community development, education, or skill development projects.
- Freshers with excellent communication and facilitation skills may also apply.
Desired Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Hindi and English.
- Ability to connect with adolescents and young learners.
- Strong facilitation, counselling, and mentoring skills.
- Creative and activity-based teaching approach.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Workspace, Online Training Tools).
- Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and professionalism.
