Role Summary
The Shipping Documentation Executive will manage end-to-end export documentation and shipment coordination. The role involves ensuring compliance with export regulations, buyer requirements, and banking processes. Letter of Credit (LC) handling is required knowledge, but LC is not mandatory for all shipments, as transactions may follow multiple payment terms.
KRA: Task / Activities
Prepare and verify export documents: Commercial Invoice , Packing List , Bill of Lading ,Certificate of Origin
Ensure documentation accuracy as per buyer requirements (LC/non-LC cases)
Coordinate with shipping lines, CHA, and freight forwarders
Handle submission of documents to banks (where applicable)
Work with internal teams (sales, accounts, production) for shipment planning
Maintain proper documentation records and compliance with DGFT/customs
Track shipments and provide status updates
Manage documentation discrepancies and amendments
KPI: Performance Metrics
Accuracy in documentation
Timely submission of export/bank documents
Coordination efficiency with logistics partners
Compliance with export regulations
Skills & Attitude (A in BARE Fit)
Required Skills Preferred skills
Knowledge of export documentation procedures
Understanding of LC terms (preferred, not mandatory for all shipments)
Familiarity with INCOTERMS, DGFT, and customs regulations
Experience with CHA, shipping lines, and freight forwarders
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience in metal Export/trading/manufacturing industry
Knowledge of EDI filing and export portals
Banking documentation exposure
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
