The AI Consultant will lead AI-driven transformation initiatives for North American Utilities clients from offshore. This role targets senior practitioners with deep strategic advisory experience, strong technical credibility, and a proven track record of building and scaling AI teams and solutions.
Candidates who have led AI departments, Centers of Excellence, or founded / operated AI-focused companies will be given strong preference.
Technical Expertise:
- AI / ML Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face
- Generative AI & LLMs: GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini; prompt engineering and agentic architectures
- Cloud AI Platforms: Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, AWS SageMaker & Bedrock, Google Vertex AI
- MLOps: CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, governance, retraining, and security
- Data Platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, cloud-native data lakes
- Utility Systems & Data: SCADA, AMI, OMS, GIS, DERMS, EAM
Preferred Skills / Background:
- Former Head of AI, Chief AI Officer, AI Practice Leader, or AI Startup Founder
- Experience running AI departments, AI CoEs, or small AI-focused companies
- Proven record of building AI teams and scaling production-grade AI solutions
- Prior consulting experience with North American utilities
