Job Summary
The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse/store, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records (inward & outward).
- Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Track damaged, expired, or slow-moving items.
2. Goods Receiving
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect quality, quantity, and condition of goods.
- Record GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and update stock system.
- Coordinate with procurement and accounts for discrepancies.
3. Storage & Organization
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store/warehouse.
- Implement proper storage practices for safety and quality.
- Ensure proper use of pallets, racks, and space utilization.
4. Dispatch & Delivery
- Prepare materials as per issue requests.
- Verify dispatch quantity and documentation.
- Maintain dispatch register and delivery challans.
- Coordinate with logistics and transport team.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain stock registers, ledgers, and system updates.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.
- Track material consumption and usage trends.
- Maintain records of returns and scrap.
6. Team Coordination
- Supervise store assistants and loaders.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, accounts, and logistics teams.
- Ensure smooth material flow for operations.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety and warehouse regulations.
- Ensure proper handling of materials and equipment.
- Maintain fire safety and emergency readiness.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
