Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer to design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM), automation systems, and machine components. The candidate should have knowledge of mechanical design, engineering drawings, and CAD software. Freshers with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Design machine parts, assemblies, and Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Create manufacturing and assembly drawings with GD&T.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and assembly teams.
- Modify designs based on customer requirements and engineering changes.
- Support machine assembly, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and customer standards.
- Maintain design documents and revision records.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
- Knowledge of machine design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, gears, motors, and pneumatics.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and tolerances.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred for relevant experience)
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
- Experience in SPM or Industrial Automation projects.
- Exposure to sheet metal, fabrication, and machining processes.
- Basic understanding of electrical and automation systems.
