Roles & Responsibilities
WordPress Development:
- Build and maintain WordPress sites using Elementor, custom CSS, HTML5, JavaScript
- Create pixel-perfect, responsive pages across all devices
- Custom Elementor widgets, PHP hooks/filters, child themes as needed
- Manage projects end-to-end — no dependency on a separate frontend dev
- WordPress security best practices and cross-browser compatibility SEO Implementation (Mandatory — Not Optional): Publish content with proper H1/H2/H3 structure, meta titles, descriptions, image alt text
- Build and manage internal linking — contextual links, link equity flow, orphan page fixes
- Configure Yoast SEO / Rank Math — canonicals, redirects (301/302), noindex, breadcrumbs
- Implement JSON-LD Schema Markup (Article, FAQ, HowTo, Product, LocalBusiness)
- Manage robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and Google Search Console
- Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) — image compression, lazy loading, font optimization, render-blocking fixes
- Handle URL structures, site migrations, and redirect mapping without losing rankings Must-Have Skills
- Development: 3+ years WordPress, advanced Elementor, HTML5/CSS3/JS, PHP basics, responsive design, Git
SEO (Mandatory):
- Yoast/Rank Math daily use, on-page SEO fundamentals, Schema Markup (JSON-LD), internal linking strategy, robots.txt & sitemaps, Google Search Console, Core Web Vitals optimization, 301 vs 302 redirects
- Strong communication skills — you will be on weekly video calls with international clients

- Handled a site migration without losing rankings
- Screaming Frog or similar crawlers for technical audits
