The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a critical entry-to-mid-level sales role responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients for the company's SEO, website design, and digital marketing services. The SDR serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and is the engine that keeps the sales pipeline full. This role requires strong communication skills, digital marketing awareness, and the tenacity to convert cold contacts into warm opportunities for the Account Executive team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research and identify businesses that need SEO services, website redesigns, or digital
- marketing support
- Build targeted prospect lists using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or ZoomInfo
- Focus on industries such as e-commerce, local businesses, healthcare, real estate, andprofessional services visibility
2. Cold Outreach & Engagement
- Conduct cold calls, send cold emails, and reach out via LinkedIn to generate initial interest
- Personalize outreach messaging based on each prospect's industry, website issues, or SEO performance gaps
- Follow multi-touch cadences (calls, emails, social touches) to maximize response rates
- Handle initial objections professionally and communicate the value of the company's services
3. Lead Qualification
- Apply the BANT framework (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to assess prospect readiness
- Conduct brief discovery conversations to understand business goals, pain points, and current marketing efforts
- Disqualify low-potential leads early to keep the pipeline efficient and focused
4. Meeting Scheduling
- Book qualified discovery calls and product demonstrations for the Account Executive team
- Coordinate scheduling across time zones and manage calendar confirmations
- Prepare handoff notes for the AE ( Account Executive ) including key prospect insights gathered during qualification
5. CRM & Reporting
- Log all activities, calls, emails, and notes in the CRM (HubSpot, GHL)
- Track outreach metrics including connect rates, open rates, and meetings booked
- Provide weekly pipeline reports to the Sales Manager
6. Collaboration & Growth
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach messaging with active campaigns
- Participate in sales training, skill-building workshops, and team coaching sessions
- Share prospect feedback with the product and marketing teams to improve service
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or
- equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or digital marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of SEO, SEM, website performance, and digital marketing concepts
- Comfortable making high-volume cold calls and handling rejection professionally
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple outreach sequences simultaneously
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as GHL, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a digital marketing agency or SaaS sales environment
- Familiarity with outreach tools such as Apollo.io, Outreach, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales
- Navigator
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, or basic SEO audit tools
- Experience running email campaigns or drip sequences
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
