Key Responsibilities
- Material Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and source raw materials (rubber, steel, PTFE, graphite), industrial tools, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies.
- Supplier Management: Conduct supplier audits and evaluations based on price, quality certifications, and production capacity.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead commercial negotiations for material pricing, payment terms, and long-term supply agreements.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and implement strategies like Just-In-Time (JIT) to optimize inventory and reduce carrying costs.
- Order Tracking & Logistics: Issue purchase orders (POs) and follow up to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies in quantity or quality.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure all purchased materials comply with manufacturing industry standards and specific project requirements.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports on monthly purchases, cost savings, and supplier performance in ERP systems
