Job Summary
PET & CO is looking for a passionate and experienced Pet Groomer who loves working with dogs and cats. The ideal candidate should be patient, gentle with pets, and capable of providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the comfort and safety of every pet.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pet grooming services including:
- Bathing & drying
- Hair trimming & styling
- Nail clipping
- Ear cleaning
- Teeth cleaning
- De-shedding & hygiene trims
- Handle pets safely and calmly during grooming sessions
- Identify skin issues, ticks, fleas, or abnormalities and inform the pet parents/store manager
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of grooming tools and grooming area
- Ensure proper sanitization of equipment after every grooming session
- Build friendly relationships with customers and guide them on pet hygiene and coat care
- Manage grooming appointments efficiently
- Follow PET & CO grooming standards and safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience as a pet groomer preferred
- Knowledge of different dog and cat breeds, coat types, and grooming styles
- Ability to handle aggressive or anxious pets patiently
- Good communication and customer handling skills
- Passion for animals and pet care
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
