Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to support our business development team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to client research, market analysis, CRM management, stakeholder coordination, and business operations within the IT services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients, target accounts, and business opportunities using LinkedIn and other online platforms.
- Maintain and update CRM databases; track client communications and follow-ups
- Participate in client meetings and assist with post-meeting follow-up actions
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand service offerings and support client pitching
- Prepare basic reports, trackers, and documentation using Excel and Word
Requirements:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data entry, formatting, basic formulas) and MS Word
- Currently pursuing the final semester of an MBA (marketing, HR, business management, sales, or related specialization).
- Preferred educational background: B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc (Computer Science/IT), or any IT-related Bachelor's degree.
- Basic understanding of LinkedIn for professional networking and research.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Skills
- Interest in business development, client engagement, and market research.
- Familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of the IT services industry is a plus.
