Job Summary
The Faculty Member in the Department of Architecture will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, promoting research and innovation, and contributing to academic and administrative activities of the institution. The incumbent shall play a key role in developing future architects through outcome-based education, practical exposure, and industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, studio sessions, tutorials, and practical classes as per the curriculum.
- Develop and update course content in line with COA, UGC, and institutional guidelines.
- Conduct student assessments, examinations, evaluations, and result analysis.
- Guide students in design studios, projects, dissertations, and internships.
- Promote experiential and project-based learning methodologies.
Qualifications & Eligibility
For Assistant Professor
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) or Master's Degree in Architecture (M.Arch.) with First Class or equivalent.
- Qualification and experience as per Council of Architecture (COA) norms.
Desired Skills
- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in architectural design and studio pedagogy.
- Knowledge of relevant software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
Compensation
