We are a women's fashion atelier specializing in high-quality Western apparel. Our focus is on beautiful craftsmanship, excellent fit, and attention to detail. We are looking for an experienced Masterji who can lead the technical and production side of the atelier.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate patterns from design sketches and reference garments.
- Develop samples and make fitting corrections until the garment fits perfectly.
- Work with premium fabrics such as silk, organza, linen, satin, cotton, and other delicate fabrics.
- Supervise and guide the tailoring team during sampling and production.
- Ensure every garment is finished to a high standard before delivery.
- Coordinate with hand embroiderers to ensure embroidery placements match the design.
- Plan and manage the daily workflow of the tailoring team.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, holidays, and overall work quality in the tailoring department.
- Assist in hiring skilled tailors, finishers, and other production staff when required.
- Source and coordinate with fabric suppliers, dyeing units, embroidery artisans, and other vendors.
- Ensure production timelines are met without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Pattern Maker (Masterji) in women's Western wear.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fitting, grading, and pattern development.
- Experience working with premium and delicate fabrics.
- Ability to manage a tailoring team independently.
