Site Engineer – Telecom

Job Purpose
To manage and supervise telecom site activities including Installation & Commissioning (I&C), Operations & Maintenance (O&M), site surveys, quality control, customer coordination, and project execution while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise telecom site installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct site surveys and assess site readiness before project execution.
- Coordinate with technicians, riggers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure project activities are completed within scheduled timelines.
- Monitor daily site progress and report status to management.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Perform site quality inspections and audits.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain project documentation, checklists, and completion reports.
- Manage site materials and ensure proper utilization.
- Coordinate with customers, telecom operators, and tower companies.
- Attend site meetings and resolve site-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to EHS guidelines and safety procedures.
- Enforce the use of PPE and safe work practices at all sites.
- Verify completed work before customer acceptance.
- Support Installation & Commissioning (I&C) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities.
- Escalate technical, quality, and resource-related issues when required.
- Ensure timely closure of punch points and customer observations.
- Monitor manpower productivity and site discipline.
- Achieve project, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction targets.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Telecommunications, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Telecom Infrastructure Projects.
- Experience in Telecom I&C, O&M, Network Rollout, Passive Infrastructure, BTS Installation, Microwave, and Fiber Projects preferred.
- Experience working with telecom operators and tower companies is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
