- Manufacture, modify, and repair patterns, core boxes, and related tooling for foundry operations.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately.
- Prepare wooden, metal, resin, or composite patterns based on production requirements.
- Ensure proper pattern allowances such as shrinkage, machining, and draft angles.
- Work closely with foundry, machining, and quality teams to improve casting quality.
- Inspect patterns regularly and perform maintenance or repairs when required.
- Support trial runs and troubleshoot casting defects related to pattern design.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and safe working conditions within the workshop.
- Follow company quality, safety, and production standards at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Pattern Maker in a foundry / metal casting environment.
- Strong knowledge of casting processes including sand casting and mold preparation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
- Experience working with wood, aluminum, steel, epoxy, or resin patterns.
- Knowledge of dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in API / Oil & Gas industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / Technical certification in Mechanical, Tooling, or related field.
