About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter who has successfully recruited for small or medium-sized organizations. This role requires someone who can independently manage the complete recruitment lifecycle and proactively identify quality candidates for diverse and hard-to-fill positions.
Unlike recruiters who primarily rely on a well-known employer brand or high inbound application volumes, the ideal candidate should be skilled at sourcing, networking and headhunting to attract the right talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from understanding hiring requirements to candidate onboarding.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, social media, referrals, networking and other creative sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Negotiate compensation and manage the offer process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide a positive candidate experience.
- Track recruitment metrics and maintain accurate hiring records.
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring priorities and workforce planning.
- Meet hiring targets while maintaining high standards of candidate quality.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Proven experience hiring for startups, small businesses, NGOs, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, or other small and growing companies.
- Strong expertise in candidate sourcing, headhunting and talent mapping.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed and other sourcing platforms.
- Excellent communication, interviewing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to assess candidates for both technical competence and cultural fit.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience recruiting across multiple functions such as Operations, HR, Sales, Administration, Finance, Customer Support or Healthcare.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
