Role Overview:
As a PHP Developer, you will play a vital role in the development, optimization, and maintenance of our applications. This position is ideal for professionals with a passion for backend development and experience in PHP coding, database management, and API integrations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers for seamless integration between UI and backend logic.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable PHP-based backend code.
- Develop and manage relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and write optimized queries.
- Integrate and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Implement and manage secure payment gateway integrations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex architectural and coding issues.
- Work with the UX/UI teams to align backend development with user experience requirements.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and high availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in PHP development using any modern framework (CodeIgniter, Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
- Strong command of PHP functions and in-depth understanding of PHP OOP principles.
- Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases with strong database design and query optimization skills.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript and basic understanding of HTML, CSS for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with MVC architecture and software design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Familiarity with secure payment gateway integrations.
- Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and debugging skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
