We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to join our Agile game development team at Aristocrat. This role emphasizes hands-on development and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in C++ (11/14), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and SDLC, along with significant experience building high-performance games. What You'll Do

Lead the development of complex game features from concept to delivery

Implement and maintain high-performance game code using C++ (11/14)

Ensure flawless adherence to engineering guidelines and coding standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine technical requirements and solutions

Mentor and guide junior developers, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to build robust and scalable code structures

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

Participate in Agile planning and execution, strictly adhering to timelines

Optimize game performance and memory usage for various platforms

Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate guidelines into game development processes

Successfully implement new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency
What We're Looking For

7+ years of experience in game development on C++ (11/14)
-
Demonstrated proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SDLC
-
Experience working in Linux and Windows development environments.

Proficiency with tools such as Visual Studio, Git/SVN, GDB, profiling tools, and static/dynamic analysis tools.

Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems.

Background in improving game performance and resolving technical issues

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to mentor and develop junior team members

Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game mechanics

Prior experience in the gaming industry is preferred.
