Job Description: Electrician (Maintenance)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical installations across facilities to minimize downtime and support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures.
- Install new electrical components and systems as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to resolve technical issues.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and power outages.
Qualifications & Skills
- ITI certification in Electrical Trade or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an electrician in maintenance or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and safety protocols.
- Ability to use electrical testing tools and equipment.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
