Video Editor (Long-Form & Short-Form Content):
E8 Productions is looking for a highly skilled Video Editor who understands more than just editing. We need someone who understands audience psychology, retention strategies, storytelling, and what makes content go viral.
This role is focused on creating content that captures attention, keeps viewers watching, and drives millions of views across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and Shorts.
What You'll Be Doing
- Edit long-form YouTube videos with a strong focus on viewer retention
- Create high-performing short-form content designed for virality
- Build engaging hooks within the first 1-3 seconds
- Use pacing, pattern interrupts, storytelling, sound design, captions, and visual effects to maximize watch time
- Identify the most engaging moments from raw footage
- Create edits that increase audience retention and completion rates
- Work closely with our team to improve content performance across multiple platforms
- Stay current with social media trends and viral editing styles
Requirements
- Proven experience editing both long-form and short-form content
- Strong understanding of retention-based editing
- Understanding of viral content frameworks and audience psychology
- Ability to create engaging hooks, open loops, pattern interrupts, and payoff moments
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
- Strong communication and ability to receive feedback
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
Bonus Points
- Experience editing content similar to Alex Hormozi, MrBeast, Iman Gadzhi, podcasts, interviews, and creator content
- Motion graphics experience
- Thumbnail design experience
- Knowledge of YouTube analytics, audience retention graphs, and content optimization
Pay: ₹28,210.90 - ₹49,889.83 per month
