Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Engineer (Mechanical) with 2–5 years of experience in project billing, quantity estimation, and documentation. The candidate should have experience in preparing BOQs, DPRs, client and subcontractor billing, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and accurate bill processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on project drawings and specifications.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and maintain daily work records.
- Prepare client RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor/vendor bills.
- Measure executed work quantities and ensure accurate billing.
- Coordinate with site engineers, planning engineers, and project managers for work progress updates.
- Verify work completion against approved drawings and contract specifications.
- Maintain billing records, measurement sheets, and supporting documents.
- Reconcile billed quantities with actual site execution.
- Assist in cost tracking, budget monitoring, and quantity reconciliation.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for bill submission and payment follow-up.
- Ensure billing documentation complies with contractual terms and company procedures.
- Support project documentation, MIS reporting, and billing audits.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and project billing.
- Experience in preparing DPR (Daily Progress Report) and project documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and project specifications.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of contract terms, measurements, and billing procedures.
