- Plan and supervise daily meal preparation and service.
- Manage kitchen, dining hall, and mess staff.
- Prepare duty schedules and assign tasks to employees.
- Monitor food quality, quantity, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Procure food items and other supplies as required.
- Manage inventory and stock records.
- Control food costs and reduce wastage.
- Handle mess accounts, budgets, and expenditure records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Address complaints and feedback from diners.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining facilities.
