Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, fabricated components, and finished products meet company quality standards and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
- Inspect fabricated, machined, welded, and assembled components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
- Verify dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and measuring tapes.
- Conduct visual inspection of welds, structural assemblies, and mechanical components.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and safety standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI (Mechanical/Fitter/Turner) or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, or quality control.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn may also be considered.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
- Hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, and mechanical assemblies.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
