Position Overview
The Cloth Inventory Executive is responsible for managing, tracking, and controlling the inventory of fabrics and textile materials within the organization. The role ensures accurate stock levels, timely documentation, proper storage, and smooth coordination between production, procurement, and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain updated and accurate records of cloth and fabric inventory in the system.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances.
- Monitor stock levels and alert management when materials need replenishment.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing fabric materials are properly documented.
Stock Handling & Quality Checks
- Inspect received fabrics for quality, color, texture, GSM, and defects.
- Properly label, fold, and store materials as per category and standard procedures.
- Ensure fabrics are stored in optimal conditions to avoid damage or contamination.
Documentation, Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and MIS reports.
- Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, and fabric consumption records.
- Generate and analyze MIS reports for stock movements, consumption trends, and stock aging.
- Update ERP/SAP/inventory management software in real time.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with the purchase team for incoming materials.
- Work closely with production, cutting, and sampling teams to issue required fabric accurately.
- Liaise with logistics for deliveries and dispatches.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Textile Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in fabric or textile inventory management (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, measurements, and textile terminology.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS report preparation, and inventory management systems.
- Working knowledge of SAP (MM module preferred) or other ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
