Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Store Officer to manage day-to-day store and warehouse operations in our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in pharmaceutical stores, inventory management, material handling, and compliance with GMP requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and engineering consumables.
- Ensure proper material identification, labeling, and storage as per GMP and SOP requirements.
- Perform Goods Receipt (GRN), material issuance, stock transfers, and dispatch activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP or other inventory management systems.
- Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase and Production departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Maintain FEFO/FIFO practices and proper storage conditions.
- Prepare and maintain store-related documentation, logs, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and company policies.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for material sampling and release.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the warehouse.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm), Science (B.Sc.), Commerce (B.Com.), or any relevant discipline.
- Diploma or certification in Material Management/Logistics will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing stores/warehouse.
- Experience with ERP/SAP/Excel inventory management systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP, FIFO/FEFO, and pharmaceutical documentation is essential.
