Job Title: Purchase Senior Executive

Qualification: Any Graduate / MBA (Supply Chain/Operations) / Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Packaging, Industrial Engineering or related field.

Job Responsibilities:
- Procure raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, machinery spares, and general items as per production requirements.
- Source and develop new vendors while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, Finance, and Maintenance for uninterrupted material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock without affecting production.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, material shortages, and delivery delays promptly.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor master data, and purchase documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and support BRCGS, ISO, SEDEX/SMETA, EcoVadis, and customer audit requirements.
Required Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory planning, and supply chain management.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet procurement timelines.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 3–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Experience in paper bags, packaging, printing, FMCG, flexible packaging, or food manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Exposure to procurement of paper, inks, adhesives, packaging materials, and machine spares will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with knowledge of BRCGS documentation, supplier evaluation, vendor audits, and sustainable sourcing practices will be preferred.
