JOB PROFILE – PERSONAL BUTLER / EXECUTIVE BUTLER
Position Personal Butler / Executive Butler to the Director Reporting To Director / Office of the Director
Job Purpose The Personal Butler will provide discreet, professional, and personalized hospitality support to the Director and designated guests. The role requires exceptional standards of food and beverage service, personal presentation, confidentiality, etiquette, and attention to detail. The candidate should have experience working in reputed star hotels, luxury hospitality establishments, private residences, or executive hospitality environments and should be comfortable serving high-profile individuals, senior corporate leaders, dignitaries, and distinguished guests.
Key Responsibilities -
Provide personalized and professional hospitality support to the Director during office hours, meetings, business engagements, and approved official events.
Deliver high-quality food and beverage service, including tea, coffee, refreshments, meals, and formal dining service.
Understand and follow international service standards, including formal table setting, buffet service, plated service, and beverage service.
Anticipate the Director’s requirements and ensure timely, efficient, and discreet service without unnecessary intervention.
Prepare and maintain the Director’s meeting room, office hospitality area, dining space, and designated service areas to impeccable standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen, pantry, catering team, housekeeping, administration, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless service.
Assist in planning and executing high-profile corporate meetings, board meetings, executive lunches, formal dinners, VIP visits, and special events. - Receive and assist senior executives, business associates, dignitaries, and other distinguished guests with warmth, professionalism, and appropriate etiquette.
Ensure that all food and beverages are served at the correct temperature, in suitable serviceware, and according to established quality standards.
Maintain appropriate inventory of beverages, refreshments, crockery, cutlery, linen, and other hospitality supplies.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, organization, and readiness of all assigned service areas. - Handle last-minute requests calmly and efficiently while maintaining service quality.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Director’s personal, professional, business, and visitor-related information.
Coordinate discreetly with the Director’s office and other authorized personnel regarding schedules, meetings, hospitality requirements, and guest arrangements.
Follow all company policies, security procedures, hygiene standards, and professional protocols.
Candidate Profile
Education - Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Service, or a related discipline is preferred.
Relevant professional training in butler service, luxury hospitality, or formal service etiquette will be an added advantage. Experience Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in reputed 4-star or 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, premium hospitality establishments, executive lounges, private residences, or corporate hospitality environments.
Prior experience as a Butler, Executive Butler, Personal Butler, F&B Service Supervisor, VIP Service Associate, or Guest Relations Executive is preferred. - Demonstrated experience in handling high-profile guests, senior corporate leaders, VIPs, dignitaries, celebrities, or distinguished clients.
Experience in managing formal corporate events, executive meetings, VIP lunches, private dining, or high-profile social functions is essential. Required Skills and Competencies - Excellent spoken and written English with clear, confident, and professional communication.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Good understanding of formal dining etiquette, table settings, service sequence, and guest protocol. - Ability to provide discreet, personalized, and anticipatory service. -
Excellent interpersonal and guest-handling skills. - Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and presentation. - Ability to remain composed, courteous, and efficient under pressure. - Good coordination and organizational abilities. - Ability to manage multiple service requirements without compromising quality. - Professional judgment, maturity, and the ability to handle sensitive situations appropriately. - Knowledge of additional Indian or international languages will be an advantage. Preferred Candidate A polished hospitality professional with proven experience in luxury or star-hotel service, excellent English communication, strong food and beverage knowledge, refined service etiquette, and the ability to support a high-profile Director and distinguished guests with discretion, confidence, and exceptional attention to detail.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
