Job Summary
Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily production activities to ensure production targets, product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency are achieved. The role involves managing manpower, monitoring production processes, minimizing downtime and wastage, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations
- Supervise daily production activities across Mixing, Dough Preparation, Moulding, Baking, Cooling, Creaming, Packing, and Dispatch.
- Ensure production schedules are completed as per the production plan.
- Monitor machine performance and line efficiency.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Reduce production losses, wastage, and downtime.
Quality & Food Safety
- Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
- Maintain compliance with food safety procedures.
- Monitor critical process parameters such as dough consistency, baking temperature, moisture, and product weight.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team for inspections and corrective actions.
Team Management
- Supervise and guide production operators and helpers.
- Allocate work and manage shift-wise manpower.
- Train employees on SOPs, safety practices, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and employee performance.
Production Planning & Reporting
- Execute daily production plans as communicated by Production Planning.
- Maintain production reports, shift reports, downtime records, and rejection reports.
- Report production issues and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Stores, Quality, and Warehouse departments for smooth operations.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safe working practices on the production floor.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in biscuit, bakery, or food manufacturing.
- Experience in automated biscuit production lines will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
