Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Computer Science Lab Assistant to support computer practical sessions, maintain laboratory infrastructure, and assist teachers and students in creating an effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare computer labs for practical classes and ensure systems are ready for use.
- Maintain computers, software, peripherals, and basic networking equipment.
- Assist teachers and students during practical sessions and examinations.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
- Maintain inventory of lab equipment and software.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safe use of the computer laboratory.
- Keep records of maintenance, inventory, and lab activities.
- Support school technology initiatives and collaborate with staff.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and MS Office.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in a school computer lab is preferred.
Experience Bands
Founder Level: 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Master Level: 4–8 years of experience managing computer lab operations.
Developer Level: 9+ years of experience with advanced lab and IT infrastructure management.
