AKASH STEEL CRAFTS PVT. LTD. is a growing manufacturer of stainless steel pipes, tubes, and fabricated products. We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Store Manager / Inventory Manager who can establish strong inventory controls and maintain accurate stock records across our factory operations.
Position: Store Manager / Inventory ManagerKey Responsibilities
- Manage all incoming and outgoing materials in the factory.
- Maintain accurate stock records of raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper material receipt, storage, identification, and issuance.
- Maintain stock registers and inventory records using MS Excel.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks.
- Reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate with Purchase for replenishment.
- Maintain inward and outward challans, GRNs, issue slips, and stock movement records.
- Track scrap generation and consumption.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Dispatch, and Purchase departments.
- Prepare inventory and stock reports for management review.
- Implement systems to prevent stock losses, shortages, and pilferage.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and organization within the stores.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 3–8 years of experience in Stores, Inventory, or Warehouse Management.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in manufacturing industries preferred.
- Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Ability to conduct physical stock audits independently.
- Honest, organized, and highly accountable.
