Area Sales Manager
Job Description:
Veg Dhara is looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations, drive business growth, and manage a team of Sales Executives within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring high team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve area-wise revenue and growth targets.
- Lead, train, motivate, and monitor a team of 4–5 Sales Executives.
- Set sales targets for team members and track their performance.
- Identify and onboard new restaurants, hotels, caterers, retailers, and other B2B customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners.
- Conduct regular field visits with team members to support business development efforts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Prepare sales reports and provide performance updates to management.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy customer accounts.
- Coordinate with operations and procurement teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Experience managing a sales team of 4–5 people or more.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and business development targets.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and drive team productivity.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Prior experience in FMCG, food distribution, grocery, agriculture, or related sectors is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
