Estimator – Commercial Interiors
Role Summary
The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, material calculations, and project budgets for commercial interior projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and site requirements to support tendering, project planning, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Study commercial interior drawings, specifications, and project scope.
- Prepare detailed BOQ, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs.
- Calculate material, labour, hardware, and subcontractor costs.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Prepare tender documents and commercial proposals.
- Conduct rate analysis for materials and execution works.
- Compare vendor quotations and negotiate pricing support.
- Maintain updated costing database and market rates.
- Support project team during budgeting and value engineering.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without affecting quality.
- Prepare project variation estimates and revised costing.
- Ensure estimation accuracy as per project timeline and client requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior materials and execution.
- Expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.
- Understanding of site execution and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil, Interior, or Architecture.
- 3+ years experience in commercial interior estimation.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
