Job Description
SUN PRINT & PACK is looking for a skilled and creative Keyline & Dieline Designer to join our growing packaging design team. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate packaging keylines, structural dielines, and production-ready artwork for various packaging products.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Create packaging dielines for cartons, corrugated boxes, labels, pouches, and rigid boxes.
✔ Develop accurate keylines as per packaging dimensions and production requirements.
✔ Prepare print-ready artwork files for offset, flexo, and digital printing.
✔ Coordinate with production and pre-press teams to ensure technical feasibility.
✔ Check artwork for bleed, safety margins, folding lines, glue areas, and print specifications.
✔ Modify and optimize existing packaging structures as per client requirements.
✔ Maintain design accuracy and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
✅ Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (Mandatory)
✅ Knowledge of packaging structures and printing processes
✅ Experience in creating dielines and keylines for packaging products
✅ Understanding of CMYK, spot colors, varnish, foil, embossing, and finishing effects
✅ Attention to detail and strong technical drawing skills
✅ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Printing Technology, or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in packaging design (Freshers with strong skills may also apply)
