We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in Tally to manage our financial operations, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and support compliance and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Handle full-cycle accounting using Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger in Tally.
Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and voucher processing in Tally.
Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and GST returns directly from Tally.
Manage inventory accounting and costing in Tally.
Handle GST compliance, TDS, and other statutory filings using Tally.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Generate customized reports and MIS from Tally for management.
Support audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
Identify and implement process improvements within Tally.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (required).
Certifications (Preferred)
CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent.
Tally-specific certification (Tally ACE, Tally GST, or Tally Professional certification) is a strong advantage.
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with at least 1–2 years working extensively on Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.
Experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance using Tally.
Industry experience (mention yours, e.g., manufacturing, trading, services) is preferred.
Technical Skills (Must-Have)
Advanced proficiency in Tally (mandatory):
Voucher entry, inventory management, payroll, GST returns, and compliance features.
Data migration, customization, and report generation in Tally.
Handling multi-location / multi-currency setups (if applicable).
Strong knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables) for supplementary analysis.
Understanding of GAAP / Indian Accounting Standards.
Familiarity with other tools like QuickBooks or SAP is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills.
